Full
Show Prepping:
$100 for all plaiting, tail done however you want, all trimming
done, makeup and quartermarks done and explained so you can redo
it on the morning of the show.
Clipping:
After feedback from my clients I now offer a range of options for clipping. My rates are:
Trace clip - $100 (belly and lower neck only).
Hunter clip - $120
(body off, legs left on).
Mini's - $130
Full body clip with the large clippers - $150
Show clip - $180.
If your horse has a thick coat then the Show Clip includes a full body clip with the large clippers first and then I'll go over the body again with my smaller clippers.
If your horses coat is not too long/thick then I'll just use the smaller clippers from the beginning. This option is also good for horses who don't like the noise or vibration of the larger clippers.
The benefit of the smaller clippers is that the teeth on the blades are smaller, finer and closer together which gives a finer, cleaner clip.
The final result is dependant on the health and cleanliness of your horses coat and skin as well as the behaviour of your horse, but I will do everything in my power to give you the best possible finish to your horses coat.
Included in all clipping packages is a Hi Shine Hot Oil Treatment.
Clipping generally takes about 1.5 - 2.0 hrs (depending on
the horse... temperament, size etc). If it takes more than 2.5 hrs
or if your horse is really difficult then there may be extra costs
involved.
