  “As a Parelli Natural Horsemanship enthusiast since 1996 and my last show in 1992, when I decided to give competing (hacking) another go this year I thought, hmm, I think I will need quite some help with presentation! With everything I do in life I always like to obtain advice from a professional that is already out there demonstrating what I am hoping to achieve. Thanks to Stockyard.net I contacted Beth to ask for her help and advice. She spent a good deal of time explaining current showring etiquette, dress, colours, what to and where to buy and more importantly what not to buy products-wise! Obviously this saved me a lot of time and money. Because I had not felt the desire to compete for such a long time I was not totally keen to rush out and buy a new jacket so Beth encouraged me to use my old jacket (yes it still fitted!) with some new touches that looked just fantastic.

I knew it would make things easier for me to also ask Beth to help prep my horse ‘Faxie’ for me the day before the show. She did a fabulous job of plaiting him even though he was not very patient! (we will work on that!). She was teaching me at the same time so I hope one day I can achieve half as good a result! She gave me plenty of tips and tricks, encouraged and supported us the whole way and also could not wait to hear how our day went! I recommend Beth to everyone that is starting out, coming back into the show ring or for competitors that just would like that professional touch for a special competition.  Not really a testimonial because it's my boy Honda but I wanted to show before and after photo's of when I clipped him today (22/04/08).

I'm thrilled that he hasn't gone a horrible orange colour so my fingers are crossed that his coat is looking fabulous for the Arabian Trilogy that is coming up shortly.

  “I sought Beth’s expertise to give my mare, Kitty, a makeover. The proof is in the pictures, she managed to transform my paddock ornament into a real show prospect!

She drove all the way up to Northam for the morning to wash, plait & paint my girl and even took photos for me for Kitty’s ad.

Beth explains what she is doing and why she does it the way she does, and why she uses certain products over others etc. I believe having her explain things to me will be a real asset for when I (hope to) start competing next year and I’m sure this wont be the last time I call on her for assistance!”

  Hi Beth,

I really wanted to thank you for doing such a great job with clipping Pickles.

You came out with such short notice and with the Trilogy only 4 days away the clip job had to be perfect –which it was!

You were so patient with him, especially considering it was his first time and he was very ‘nervous’.

All the advice you gave really helped to make Pickles’ coat shine on the day.

He ended up a gorgeous colour and we had a great day at the show.

We ended up winning Champion High Point Dressage Horse, Runner-Up Hack of the Year and Reserve Champion inhand.
