There’s so much work that goes into presenting a horse for a competition. Whether you’re competing in breed classes, show horse, dressage, jumping, western, eventing or something else – 80% of the work is done in the weeks and months before the event.
In this video I chat to you about what I consider and what I do to prepare the coat and skin of the horse, starting 6-8 weeks out from the event. Including the things I take into consideration regarding getting the best coat I can – lights, clipping and the timing of it all etc.
